Road Construction

BHM are the leading road and highway contractor in the Bahamas, with proven expertise in the roads sector from inception to completion and beyond, undertaking new road construction, road surfacing, rehabilitation resurfacing and maintenance.

BHM owns an extensive fleet of heavy construction equipment for our earthworks projects all serviced and maintained by our extensive team of experienced mechanics ensuring that preventive servicing and maintenance keeps our plant performing and avoids delays.

We also have our own experienced asphalt teams to supply and lay products on roads, airfields and ports with modern well maintained asphalt equipment.

We are committed to being an industry leader in the design and manufacture of asphalt. With our in house quality management system and independent quality testing our clients can be confident of receiving the highest quality asphalt product at all times.

We have a purpose built test Laboratory which is fully accredited to AASHTO, ASTM, BS and other international standards for sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt. BHM also has its own experienced Asphalt teams to supply and lay products on roads, airfields and ports with modern well maintained asphalt pavers, rollers and where required mobile asphalt mixing plants for on-site production and quality control.
